What is AGIOSPERM
The angiosperms, or flowering plants, number at least 250,000 species, and form the largest division in the plant world. Unlike other seed plants, such as conifers. they produce seeds inside protective ovaries, which later ripen to form fruits. There are over 250 families of angiosperm, divided into two unequal groups.
The dicotyledons, which make up the largest group, all have two seed leaves or cotyledons. They include a huge variety of herbaceous plants, shrubs, and all broad-leaved trees. The monocotyledons have a single seed leaf (cotyledon). They are mainly herbaceous and include only a few treelike forms, such as palms.
